How to Become a member of
Chandragiri  Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltd.?

To become a member of Chandragiri Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltd., please follow the steps below:

• Obtain the membership application and KYM (Know Your Member) form. Fill out both forms accurately.
• Attach two passport-sized photos of yourself, along with two copies of your citizenship certificate. Also, include one photo of the nominated beneficiary.
• If you reside outside Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Dhunibesi Municipality in Dhading, provide proof of your residence, occupation, or employment within your jurisdiction. This could be in the form of electricity bills, water bills, land ownership documents, employment certificates, or business registration certificates or the approval document from ward office that you are residing in the working area of Chandragiri.
• If you wish to avail yourself of the mobile banking and ATM services, fill out the respective form along with the membership application.
• Deposit the required amount for membership. If you are applying through the Microfinance Group and Remittance Service, deposit a total of NPR 2,000/-. For regular membership through the normal process, deposit NPR 4,000/-.
• Out of the deposited amount, NPR 300/- will be allocated to the Member Welfare Fund, NPR 100/- will serve as an entrance fee, and the remaining balance will be credited to your share and savings account.
• Please note that the amount to be deposited is calculated based on the monthly minimum savings rate of NPR 300/-. Members can deposit a minimum of NPR 300/- up to a maximum of NPR 5,000/- per month. The membership deposit amount will increase proportionately with your chosen deposit amount.
• If you wish to open a Chaild Saving Account, you will need to deposit NPR 1,500/-.
• Submit the completed membership application, KYM form, supporting documents, and the required deposit amount to the Chandragiri Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltd.
• After your membership is approved, you will receive share certificates and a membership identity card from the organization.
